9:30 am – Welcome by Prof. Asghari, Head of Entrepreneurship Hub
Prof. Dr. Reza Asghari, head of the Entrepreneurship Hub will welcome the participants at the Gründervilla.
10:30 am – Introduction: Welcome to the Camp
The organizing team will then presents the upcoming programme in detail and provides an overview about the contributing universities with a focus on their academic programmes as well as their research and teaching profiles.
1:00 pm – Kick-off workshop: Goals, tasks and business models
In the afternoon a workshop will be held dealing with the topics of expectations and personal goal setting.
3:30 pm – Meeting with Mayor of Braunschweig
The mayor of the city of Braunschweig will welcome the participants to the city hall
3:45 pm – City Tour Braunschweig
The city tour is organised by Braunschweig Marketing GmbH. It will end at the “TRAFO Hub” coworking space for start-ups, where the day will conclude meeting with founders who are based there.

09:30 am – Start-up Safari – WIN
Participants will connect with spin-offs of Ostfalia University and TU Braunschweig as part of a “Start-up Safari”. They will then receive expert input from “Braunschweig Zukunft GmbH” on the structure of start-up ecosystems in the so-called „start-up kitchen“ of the Technology Park. The W.IN, a start-up support program of the city of Braunschweig, will be introduced. In addition, a start-up will be invited to report on its career in the region’s start-up ecosystem and be available for an exchange.
10:45 am: BRICS – Guided tour + talk by BANSON
The second agenda item in the morning will be a visit to a research facility of TU BS, the BRICS natural science research center. There a guided tour will introduce current research projects as well as future topics in systems biology.
The Business Angel network “BANSON e.V.” will be invited to BRICS to provide on-site expert insights into financing opportunities for start-ups.

1:40 pm – Salzgitter AG
We will take an excursion to the Salzgitter AG steelworks and a comprehensive tour of the plant.
3:15 pm – Workshop – Salzgitter AG
Afterwards, there will be a joint workshop by Salzgitter AG and Ostfalia University on the topic of sustainable industrial production.

10:30 am – Guided Tour: OHLF + Ostfalia Campus Wolfsburg
On the fifth day of the International High-Tech Start-up Camp the OHLF will be visited. There, laboratories and experimentation facilities in the field of coating, micro and sensor technologies will be shown. This will be followed by an exchange with students and researchers.
Afterwards, the Wolfsburg campus of Ostfalia UAS will be visited. Researchers of the Ostfalia UAS will provide an insight into the focus topics of the departments of Automotive Engineering, Healthcare and Business.
12:00 pm – Lunch: Bistro Autostadt
01:00 pm – Excursion Autostadt
Volkswagen is a crucial potential partner for start-ups in Lower Saxony and shapes its business and research environment. A visit to the „Autostadt“ museum in Wolfsburg is planned for the afternoon. A guided tour will focus on the history of automobile engineering and the vision for the future of this important industry, providing new perspectives for the participants and their start-up ideas.
06:00 pm – Get together & Diner with Indian Incubators and Start-up Ecosystem
In the evening, a dinner and get-together with representatives of Indian incubators will take place in Braunschweig on the initiative of the German Centre for Research and Innovation New Delhi (DWIH), a delegation of which will also be present in Braunschweig at the time. Representatives and researchers from TU Braunschweig and Ostfalia University will also participate in this evening event.

Dagmar Wilgeroth from the Entrepreneurship Hub gives a workshop for the participants in which they learn how start-ups pitch successfully.
12:30 pm – Lunch: NFF
1:00 pm – NFF: Guided Tour + talk by Prof. Vietor
The NFF is an association of Leibniz University Hannover, Ostfalia University and TU Braunschweig, among others. The Institute for Engineering Design (IK) of TU BS is located at the NFF and researches on new approaches to product development. The head of the IK, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Thomas Vietor, will give an insight into this field and other research topics. A guided tour will take place, providing an overview of the diverse research projects in the field of automotive engineering at the NFF.
2:00 pm – NFF Workshop: Patents at TU by Herrn Saathoff + Transfer Hub
Jörg Saathoff, Head of the Technology Transfer Office at TU Braunschweig, will give a lecture at the NFF on the handling of intellectual property rights as well as patents at German universities. In addition, Jörg Saathoff will give an insight into the technology transfer project „TransferHub“ and present the newly developed innovation assessment tool „InnoCheck“.

The head of the start-up promotion staff unit and co-managing director of NBank Capital will give an overview of financing and support options in the start-up process of young companies in Lower Saxony. The Head of the Lower Saxony Start-up Division, Tobias Wedler, will also contribute to the talk.
03:00 pm – Workshop Leibniz Universität Hannover: Eco-innovations and advanced frugal innovation
The final activity of day 7 will be a visit of the LUH. The participants will get to know the campus and study life for students and researchers at LUH. Furthermore, there will be a workshop on accelerating the diffusion of eco-innovations and advanced frugal innovation by Prof. Liefner of the Institute of Economic and Cultural Geography.

On Sunday, an excursion to the Harz Mountains is planned. Students and researchers from the three university partners are also invited in order to promote academic and professional exchange. The excursion to the Harz mountains will begin with a short activity to allow participants to get to know each other.

In order to gain a further insight into the region, a tour of Wernigerode Castle is planned for the afternoon.

In the morning of the last day, we will visit the Braunschweig Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK Braunschweig).
10:15 am – Closing workshop at IHK: Next steps & feedback
Afterwards, a final workshop hosted by the Ostfalia UAS will be held at the IHK to discuss which next steps can be taken to start a business in Germany and how the collaboration of the Ostfalia UAS and the BITS Pilani can be strengthened. In addition, feedback will be gathered and concrete measures for the intensification and continuation of the built relationship are developed.

As a final programme item of the International High-Tech Start-up Camp, a closing photo with all participants as well as an official farewell is planned.
