In 2017, Prof. Dr. Reza Asghari’s Entrepreneurship Hub and Richard Borek Jr. were able to launch the joint project of the first digital accelerator program for Braunschweig. Since then, the accelerator program has been held regularly under the brand borek.digital, and over time, additional events such as the Startup Weekend including Pitch Night and the UNIcorn Startup Party have been added. A Silicon Valley scholarship for master’s students and a doctoral scholarship for researching digital business models are also offered. The joint partnership aims to engage the region’s citizens and students in entrepreneurship while calling for more initiative and entrepreneurial daring.

Alternating presentations by Richard Borek Jr. and our Hub’s staff at both our own and joint events provide the necessary exchange between all participants.
