Richard Borek Unternehmensgruppe

As one of Braunschweig’s most traditional companies, the Richard Borek Group has recognized the social and economic relevance of start-ups. In 2017, Prof. Dr. Reza Asghari’s Entrepreneurship Hub and Richard Borek Jr. were able to launch the joint project of the first digital accelerator program for Braunschweig. Since then, the accelerator program has been held regularly under the brand borek.digital, and over time, additional events such as the Startup Weekend including Pitch Night and the UNIcorn Startup Party have been added. A Silicon Valley scholarship for master’s students and a doctoral scholarship for researching digital business models are also offered. The joint partnership aims to engage the region’s citizens and students in entrepreneurship while calling for more initiative and entrepreneurial daring.

Alternating presentations by Richard Borek Jr. and our Hub’s staff at both our own and joint events provide the necessary exchange between all participants.

Braunschweig Zukunft GmbH

Braunschweig Zukunft GmbH advises on location issues, arranges commercial space, promotes start-ups and operates a successful technology park, which has already twice been awarded the title of “Recognized Innovation Center” by the Federal Association of German Innovation, Technology and Start-up Centers. Many companies started here that are now active in Germany and abroad from Braunschweig – proof that technology transfer works very well here. Technology transfer and innovation promotion are just as much a part of our tasks as the coordination of the Braunschweig start-up network. In doing so, we plan and act in cooperation with regional institutions to exploit Braunschweig’s great potential for business.

Consult One e.V.

As a student consulting organization, Consult One’s fundamental goals are to offer customers high-quality consulting services and to give students the opportunity to gain valuable practical experience and develop their personal skills during their studies. The students of the universities in the region of Braunschweig use current university knowledge to advise companies from different industries in a variety of diversified problems with individual solution ideas to optimize success.

German Accelerator

The German Silicon Valley Accelerator (GSVA) supports German start-ups from the information and communications industry to explore the US market and growth opportunities there for three consecutive months.

Each quarter, up to four companies have the opportunity to participate in the GSVA program and establish a presence in California’s Silicon Valley. If the program is successful and the market is promising, there is also the option of an extension of the stay.

The innovation society mediates contacts between industry and the institutes of the TU and advises on the design of research and development contracts. This gives industry and SMEs access to the resources (to scientists and infrastructure) of the participating institutes.

iTUBS is the first point of contact and leading service agency for the initiation and realization of projects between the institutes of the TU Braunschweig and commercial enterprises.
