February 15, 2022 – From Future Angst to Future Hope

On February 15, 2022, there will be an online lecture by Dr. Mario Herger from 5 to 6:30 pm. In his lecture, the author and innovation expert will talk about technological progress and social fears associated with it.

What current fears are shaping us? What fears did people face in the past when today’s technologies did not exist? Why are we not at the forefront of the competition between cultures for new technologies today? What measures do we need to take in order to view new technologies not as something frightening and hostile, but as a means of solving humanity’s major problems? In “Future Angst“, innovation expert Dr. Mario Herger poses the crucial questions regarding technology and progress and presents professional and forward-looking solutions. With his appeal “Design the Future”, Herger offers an unconventional and transformative approach for a new, human-centered mindset.

Leading Yourself and Others

26.06.2021 – Leading Yourself and Others

Do you have what it takes to be a leader? The answer is most assuredly YES- if you are willing to learn a few key things about yourself.

In order to effectively lead others you must first be able to lead yourself. Managing stress, time and emotions, overcoming set-backs and knowing how to motivate yourself regardless of circumstances are the first leadership skills to master.

You can then build on these abilities to create resilience, motivation and cooperation in others. Add strategic thinking and effective communication and you may even be called a visionary!

09.06.2021 – Entrepreneurial Thinking: A Future Skill for Academics

As a well-educated high potential, your expertise will be needed to find innovative solutions to new and complex problems as they arise within companies, organisations and society. The ability to think in a solution-oriented manner in unprecedented situations requires a combination of analytical, creative and strategic skills that is highly sought after in modern working environments. Drawing logical connections between unrelated fields and translating them into direct plans for action is a major asset for both professional and personal success.  While it comes naturally only to a select few, it is a skill that can be learned.
