We support students, doctoral candidates, research associates and alumni of the Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences and the Technical University of Braunschweig who are interested in founding a company.
The Entrepreneurship Hub is a joint institution of the Technische Universität Braunschweig and the Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences. We have played a decisive role in establishing a successful and sustainable start-up culture at these two universities. In order to maintain and further develop this, we offer various teaching, learning and research opportunities that cover almost all aspects of founding innovative and technology-based companies.
The Entrepreneurship Hub is an institution of the TU Braunschweig and the Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences, which supports students, doctoral candidates, scientific staff and alumni in turning ideas and research results into start-ups of new companies. The goal is to create and further develop a lively start-up culture in the Braunschweig region.
Professor Dr. Reza Asghari has held the professorship for Entrepreneurship at the TU Braunschweig and Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences since March 1, 2009, and in this capacity is also head of the Entrepreneurship Hub based at both universities. The business information scientist earned his doctorate in 1997 on the topic of growth economics at the Institute of Economics at the TU Braunschweig and subsequently worked as an e-business consultant in the IT industry, most recently at Oracle Germany.
The Entrepreneurship Hub has an interdisciplinary team with diverse knowledge from different disciplines. We promote entrepreneurial thinking because we also see ourselves as entrepreneurs. Our employees are active in both teaching and research and are intensively involved in shaping several projects and funding programs.
We are committed to strengthening and promoting a lively and interdisciplinary university start-up culture in the Braunschweig region. We impart the expertise and methods for business model innovation, accompany and support the start-up process and create the interfaces between teaching, research, business and society.
