High Tech Entrepreneurship

     Overview

From Researcher to Entrepreneur

The scholarly insights obtained from research are an excellent basis for founding innovative startups. What has a long tradition at Georgia Tech, MIT and Stanford is gradually catching on at German universities. Combining the scientific knowledge gained during doctoral studies with sufficient venture capital can give rise to fast-growing technology companies that represent an exciting life perspective for young academics.

In addition to imparting strategic start-up knowledge, the workshop will discuss operational steps that can lead the start-up process to success. The necessary business management tools and options for capital mobilization will also be taught.
